Rest in Peace Si

With huge regret and heartbreak we report the desperately sad news that our great friend and long time Club member, Simon Partridge died on Thursday following a cycling accident in Wales. A local Pershore boy, ‘’Parters’’ was truly one of our own. He first played rugby for Pershore when he was 15 (in the days when you could do that ....) and when injury curtailed his playing days, he continued to be closely associated with the Club for the next 35 years. He was an enthusiastic and energetic tourist, participating on numerous Vets tours, and was a regular volunteer (often with a paintbrush in hand ) at the annual Club Workforce Days. Simon also created our first PRFC website and continued to be involved in its maintenance.
But mostly Simon will be remembered by all those who knew him as a thoroughly decent, personable, generous and sociable friend with a mischievous sense of humour. A true gentleman. Our thoughts and prayers are with Karen and Amelie at this incredibly sad time.
R.I.P. Si .... we will miss you.
