This was a tale of two halves for Pershore, the pack was rampant in the first half, the backs superb in the second.
Pershore opened the scoring after good work in the tight from all forwards (and a couple of backs parading as forwards :) ) meant pershore capitalized by going over in the corner from a maul, scored by Alex Peel.
it was much of the same five minutes after as number 8 Martin Hope scored a similar try from good line out ball of Jameson Lane, and strong work from the pack.
Shipston remained stoic, and presented a contest, albeit wanting, with them only really being superior in the moaning department (just).
the first half finished as it began with strong work from the Persh forwards along with backs, resulting in a short ball to Lee Synnuck, who turned to form a maul which was happily taken by Tommy Hayes crashing over with the assistance of Toby Grace.
the second half was the turn for the backs to turn on the style, and did this to great effect, setting up all three second half scores, good interlinking play resulted in Aj Hanson going over to score.
then well thought out lines of running By Sion, were picked out well by Tommy Hayes, and the flanker proved unstoppable from 18 metres out.
the final try was scored by Lee Synnuck, with the inventiveness of Tommy Hayes once again, allowing Lee to Sidestep the second row and score almost unopposed.
Special mention to Carl Redman for his strong running and 'dancing' feet in his second half appearance :).
