Pershore traveled to Chaddesley Corbett RFC on Sunday with a group of 24 young players. The under sevens were split into two teams each team enjoying a training game with the Pershore under eights and a match against Chaddesley Corbett.
Pershore Red started strongly with some excellent team play that continued throughout their game. By half time Pershore were 5 trys to 4 ahead.
Pershore pushed on in the second half with 5 more well worked trys. The final score left Pershore Red as winners by 10 tries to 5. It was particularly pleasing to see Pershore working together with 2 excellent trys from Rowan Thomas and good support play from Daniel Giles and Carter Adey. Jack Hurn contributed 2 with the remaining 6 coming from Will Kimberlin who also went home with the Defender of the day award.
