U7s first fixture of the season

A really good turn out (12) for Pershore under 7 's, was further boosted by the donning of the new kits which looked superb and very professional. 12 little men separated into 2 teams with subs, to do battle against what seemed an experienced Droitwich team.

From an initially uncertain start,with new players starting to understand the basics, a quick and certain grasp of the game was made by all as they united as a team to attack and defend valiantly.

I think we're all working on remembering the names of all 12 players, but there was some great performance from last years players and new starters alike. Having ending up playing four matches back to back, a bit of tiredness started to show in some of the scoring but not in the commitment shown.

All who turned up contributed very well to their respective teams and the progression made in what was for most their first match was superb.

We're looking forward to watching them all again next week, at Away at Worcester!
